Why would the apostle Paul dedicate an entire chapter in the book of Romans to Abraham? Paul wants to make it clear to the believers in Rome, and by extension all of us, that salvation has been the same from the beginning until now. Nothing has changed. A right relationship with God has never been found in good works, circumcision, or by following the Law. The goal of this message is to clearly demonstrate how one may be declared righteous in God's sight, the very same way Abraham was.
