MANY MEMBERS, ONE BODY
TEXT: Ephesians 4:1-6, 11-16, 25-32

SUMMARY: The ability for a church of many members to function as one body requires of its members continual submission, repentance, and love.

I. IN THE CHURCH THERE ARE MANY MEMBERS.
A. The Fact of our Diversity.
B. The Failures of Diversity.

II. IN THE CHURCH THERE IS ONE BODY.
A. One God.
B. One Word of God.

1. One doctrine.
2. One truth.
   C. One Work of God.

APPLICATION
A. Unity Requires Submission.
—to Christ's headship over His body.
—to the truth that the church has been the guardian of.
—to the authority of elders within the church.
—We Submit to each other.
B. Unity Requires Repentance.
C. Unity Requires Love.
