The Creation and Commission of Man

Genesis 2 does not present a contradiction to chapter 1 but it provides further details of day 6 with an emphasis on the creation of man. This makes complete sense since man was the pinnacle and crown of God's creative work. This passage brings us back to the foundation of specialness of mankind and the sanctity of human life.
