Do Not Call Common What I Have Called Clean
Series The Book of Acts
45
The conversion of Cornelius is of enormous significance for the church. The story of that conversion begins with two visions - one given to Cornelius instructing him to send for Peter and one given to Peter which leaves Peter perplexed and uncertain.
It is only when the Holy Spirit interprets the meaning of Peter's vision that Peter comprehends that God's electing purpose has expanded beyond the Jews to include the Gentiles without condition.
In this sermon we explore the meaning of these two visions and how important it is that we obey God's revealed will and word for our own lives.
