The Protevangelium

As we approach Christmas day, the day on which we celebrate the birth of Christ, it’s important to remember that what happened 2,000 years ago was the culmination of a long line of events. The person and work of Christ was the pinnacle of redemptive history. And in order to fully understand and appreciate the birth of Christ, the day in which God incarnate broke into time, space, and history, we have to go back to the beginning and fill in the gaps.
