Have you ever thought of God's discipline as freedom? God disciplines His children as a loving kind father disciplines his child, so that we might share His holiness. It is a freedom we have. It is a freedom of a son. God disciplines us for sin, but it is not punishment, it is to correct us, protect us, train us and to cherish us and lead us in a new direction.
