The King Full Of Blessing

The prayer for God's king in Psalm 72 shows us what the reign of His ideal ruler looks like. God's coming King will administer God's justice and righteousness so that through him all nations will be blessed and the whole earth filled with God's glory.

1. A just and righteous rule over God's
   people (1-4)

2. A long and prosperous reign (5-7)

3. A universal dominion (8-11)

4. A just and compassionate defense of
   the needy (12-14)

5. An enduring reign of universal
   blessing (15-17)

6. Praise for the LORD's universal
   reign (18-19)
