Good Tidings Of Great Joy

The announcement from the angel is that the birth of Jesus is a message of great joy. Jesus' birth is more than an interesting story, or emotional tale. The birth of Christ is the gospel, good news. And we should understand the gospel as good news. If the gospel perplexes us, or leaves us worried, we do not understand that message of the angels.
