The Child That Changed Everything

It makes a great difference in how you think about what you are doing if you understand how it fits into a bigger purpose, Understanding and remembering why you are doing what you are doing is extremely helpful.

The birth of Jesus Christ is the revelation of God's purpose for this world. That is true both universally and personally—at a macroscopic level as well as a microscopic level.

In other words, the birth of Jesus changed everything. If you understand this, and remember it, it will transform the way that you think about your life and carry out your day-to-day responsibilities.

As we approach the day on which much of the world will celebrate the birth of Jesus, I want us to take the opportunity today and the next two Sundays to reconsider what Scripture says about the significance of that event.
