Beholding His Glory

How amazing is this, that He who was the Son of God should be born to a virgin, that following His birth He should be attended by ordinary Shepherds, as well as Kings, who along with others were eye-witnesses of these extraordinary events.

Scripture demands that we take these things seriously, things that were spoken of 700 years before Christ's birth, defying any natural explanation.

Christ's Glory was different! He was not born in a palace, but in a stable, His bed we learn was a humble manger, an animal feeding trough. He came as a servant, in apparent weakness, to ultimately die on a cross, to be the Saviour of His people. Will you be stirred by these events? His Glory may have been concealed at His coming, but will you reflect upon the true nature of it now? Will you believe upon Him, who came to do us needy sinners good?
