Move In - Jesus Brings Life

Jesus’ disciples had already witnessed a number of amazing miracles. Jesus had cast out demons, healed Peter’s mother-in-law, cleansed a leper, restored mobility to a paralyzed man, healed a man’s shriveled hand, and cured a centurion’s servant who was on the brink of death. Now, for the first time in His public ministry, Jesus would bring a dead man back to life. Jesus came to bring life—spiritual life, abundant life, eternal life (compare John 10:10). Jesus demonstrated this life giving power by raising a widow’s son from physical death. Jesus still offers life.
