Have You Grown This Year?

Just as we look for and expect to see physical growth in a child, we should look for and expect spiritual growth in a Christian. Paul says that in growing spiritually, we should grow down (be rooted in Christ), grow up (be built up in Christ), and grow out (bear fruit) – all similar to a tree. Spiritual growth is a life-long process that is applicable for all Christians at any age. Once we are born again, we should be growing until we reach the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
