The Future Second Coming of Jesus Christ

To the Apostles' minds before Jesus died on the cross, the fall of Jerusalem, the Second Coming of Christ, and the end of the age, were all inseparably connected. In our text this evening our Lord Jesus shows them that, though these events are thematically connected, they are historically distinct. In these verses we learn 1. The tyranny of false second comings, 2. The nature of the true second coming, 3. The timing of the Great Tribulation, and finally 4. The timing of the Second Coming.
