Worldliness: Defining the Term

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." —1 John 2:15

Worldliness. What is it really? One thing is certain: it's not as black and white as some people want to make it. The important thing in determining if something Christians do/say/think is "worldly", then we've got to understand what the NT means when it says that we are not to love "the world." For if it involves loving the world, then it is worldly. Real worldiness, therefore is an internal issue because it deals with the heart.
