Creation And Salvation (The connection between the two doctrines)
Series Fellowship Meeting
517
This address shows the ramifications of tampering with the clear and plain doctrine of creation, the effects of which have a marked bearing upon the truth of salvation.
- The biblical doctrine of creation and the reliability of Scripture to teach us the way of salvation.
- The Scriptural doctrine of salvation can only be relied upon if Scripture as a whole is reliable. Other parts of Scripture, however, pre-suppose a literal rendering of Genesis chapters 1-3.
- Exodus 20 - the literal days of creation and the 4th commandment.
- The evolutionary theory, if imposed upon the text of Scripture overturns all the principles of biblical interpretation.
- The Scriptures indicate a belief in a literal Adam and Eve.
- The biblical doctrine of creation and the salvation we need.
- Accountability to our Maker is fundamental to the biblical view of salvation.
- The bible attributes the fall of man to a literal covenant representative. The first and second Adam must both be literal. (Rom 5:12-21).
- Evolution is a false religion opposed to the biblical doctrine of creation and salvation.
Romans 1 and man's inclination to idolatry following the fall - All false religion denies the true and living God - Evolution is an expression of false religious belief and man's desire to believe a lie, it should not be given the status of science for the idea that science can determine the origin of creation is unscientific.
