Consequences of a False Faith

145

One of the most controversial passages in the Bible over the centuries has been Hebrews 10:26-31. Arminianism uses it to prove that a genuine Christian can lose his salvation;however, a close scrutiny of the passage reveals that the persons being referred to are not genuine Christians; hence, it is possible to demonstrate a false faith that cannot save. The consequences are terrifying to such who trample under feet the Lord Jesus and insult the Spirit of grace.
