The Three Seeds.

14

There are three promises made in the Bible concerning the seed of the woman, the seed of Abraham, and the seed of David, which were all fulfilled in Christ. A lot of Christians today focus upon the promise made to Abraham concerning the land of Canaan, the return of the Jews to that Land and a supposed separate destiny for the Jews. As we consider the fulfillment of of all the promises in the life, death, resurrection, ascension, and intersession of Christ for his people, we find that they all have a spiritual significance and that there is not one reference to the Jews returning to their ancestral land. All have spiritual significance. The seed of the woman, Christ, triumphed over Satan at Calvary. The seed of Abraham are all those, Jew and Gentile, who are in Christ, are heirs according to the promise made to Abraham. Galatians 3:24-29. As to the promise made to David concerning one who would sit upon his throne, that was fulfilled when Christ rose from the dead and ascended to sit at the right hand of the Majesty on High. Acts 2:22-36.
