Public ministry FOR Jesus requires private moments WITH Jesus.

While we walked with God through Genesis we talked about how EVERYTHING Really Does Matter, especially when God sends you. You see, the means, mission and ministry of Joseph life all mattered. Joseph, who mirrors the life of Jesus, helps us as much as anyone in all the Scriptures, how everything MATERS when God sends you into a foreign world, to do a foreign work, in a foreign way, to unveil His will and bring His life to a people. Doesn't that sound like Jesus?

This world is our Father's world.
It's fallen and been subjected to futility, because of the fall, but it will be renewed. The times (ages, days, today) are and have been fashioned by our God. The thoughts of this world and it's system are under the influence of another. A world of thinking that that doesn't include God in its equations and solutions is a world without God and under the influence of darkness and its prince of the power of the air. That's the foreign world Jesus came to invade, interrupt and permanently impact with His life, light and love to redeem and rescue and reconcile us to Himself. And He has sent us, His disciples, to continue His work and witness... and because He's the MEANS, EVERYTHING Matters, especially, our MISSION and MINISTRIES.

A way of life that carefully and compassionately touches lives WITH and FOR the Lord, is a life that MUST be consistently touched BY the Lord.
