Covered by a New Gift

New clothing is sometimes given as a gift at Christmas, intended to replace old and worn-out clothing that does not serve any useful purpose, and which ultimately will do us no good.

When we become Christians we are clothed with the Righteousness of Jesus Christ. God then sees us through the Righteousness of His Son. No longer does God see our old sins - they are gone, forgiven, never to be remembered against us anymore.

The Christian, once they are in-Christ, and clothed with His Righteousness never changes from that - God never sees the old things, He sees His Son.

Isn't that a truly wonderful gift for Christmas - to know that your sins are forgiven. may God bless you, by giving you the wonderful Righteousness of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
