British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, is delighted his government has been able to legitimise homosexual unions in Britain.

In a commentary he wrote for 'The Independent,' published on 21 December 2005 - the day when 700 homosexual couples signed the Civil Partnership register in England and Wales - Blair takes pride in a 'gay UK.'
