We're studying James 1:17,18 about how to overcome sin in your life, and we found that it's all about looking up—keeping your attention fixed on God and understanding what he's really like. That's the key to living the Christian life.

So far we've examined God's generosity and power. Today we'll look at a third attribute: God as the source of life. If we want to overcome sin, we need to understand what true life really is, and what tool God uses to deliver that life to us.
