Rachel's Weeping

Jeremiah prophesies about the restoration of both Israel and Judah as a united people. The forgotten Northern Kingdom shall be restored, which gives encouragement for the Southern Kingdom and their impending exile. Though Rachel's child is no more, the LORD shall stop her ceasing because a repentant Ephraim shall return to their home. Hope in the midst of tragedy is fulfilled in the coming of the LORD Jesus Christ.
