The God Who Provides

Abraham here essentially said, "Isaac, God SEES the situation clearly. He UNDERSTANDS what is going on. He will SEE to the sacrifice!" With this, we the reader begin to SEE the episode in new light. Amidst the anguish that we are supposed to read into Abraham's silence, there is now an element of confidence in the Lord! God sees and so understands our plight! He'll see to our need as well!
