The angel Gabriel pronounces the promise of the coming Savior

We see:
1. The promise is given of a miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit.
2. The promise includes His greatness as Savior and Ruler.
3. The promise is confirmed by a sign and, by the power of the Word, is accepted in faith.
