Prayer of Thanksgiving

When we think of Thanksgiving, we usually think of thanking God for what we have and certainly God has abundantly blessed us spiritually and materially. One aspect that makes this Prayer of Thanksgiving stand out is David thanks God for his ability and desire to give. David acknowledges it is only because of God's blessings that he and the nation are able to give generously for the building of the Temple, however, rather than taking credit for giving, David thanks God that he (David) can give.
