Convinced of the Resurrection of Christ

Luke has given to us, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, a simple yet persuasive account of the resurrection of Christ grounding it in the eyewitness account of women.

1. Their expectation
2. Their surprise.
3. Their perplexity
4. Their remembrance
5. Their witness

Three further things we note.

1. The veracity of the resurrection is confirmed by the integrity of the witnesses.
2. The presence of angels does not detract from he resurrection of Christ.
3. The resurrection is entirely consistent with what Christ had already taught
