Three Tremendous Truths

1. We have forgiveness (1 John 1:9)

• The People: Christians.
• The Prerequisite: Confess means to agree with God about out sin.
• The Problem: Sin
• The Person: God
• The Power: He is faithful and just
• The Promise: to forgive and to cleanse
• The Provision: He cleanses us from ALL in righteousness

God says we sin. We should sin less but, until we are in His presence, we are still not sinless.
"If we say we have no sin we make God a liar." (1 John 1:10)

2. We have an Advocate with the Father, one to come along side and represent us before the Father. 1 John 2:1

3. He is our Propitiation (1 John 2:2). Christ is the only one who satisfies God the Father concerning our sins.
