- vv.1-9, Sacrifices only to be made at the tabernacle
a. To regulate true worship.
b. To put an end to devil worship.
- vv.10-14 – Do not eat the blood.
[Please note that I have studied the matter further since preaching this sermon and my view is again that the eating of blood is lawful (although not commanded!). Please refer to my sermon on Genesis 9:3-4 "Eating Blood: Is it still forbidden?"]
- vv.15-16 – Not eating that which died of itself or was torn by beasts.
