The Gospel As The Kingdom

Only one kingdom can have your total allegiance. Is your allegiance to an earthly Caesar or to Christ's Lordship?

The early church suffered persecution because they defied Caesar as ultimate authority, and proclaimed that Jesus is Lord! Caesar did not care what religion they had as long as he had the final say! Is it that way in our lives today? Can Christians be silent?

Is our government today, really any different from the anarchy of the Roman Empire?
