Courage Displayed In Faith

It is vain to attempt to exhaust the annals of the many saints who have suffered and been afflicted because of their love for Christ and their commitment to His honor and majesty. In or verses of interest (35-37) the apostle tells us what these believers endured by faith. They were tortured and mutilated and executed for nothing more than their trust in Christ. They were striped of every comfort of life to satisfy the evil spirits of their tormentors; driven from their homes and separated from their families by these executors of carnal religion.
