Paul's Transition and Ours

If the apostle had been a pessimist, the church might not exist today. Why? Because he knew that false teachers were on the way and that he would not be there to face them.
But he wasn’t a pessimist. He instructed Timothy to continue where his ministry would end, and then he made a complete evaluation of his life.
