Peace? What Peace?

Peace was not a description of the existing world when, at the Saviour's birth, the angels announced "on the earth peace, goodwill toward men." Nor is peace descriptive of all the world today.

The world then was and still is full of violence, greed, corruption, wars and rumours of wars. Man's inhumanity to man still exists. In the light of all this, people might wonder what the angels were saying, and what implication their announcement can have for us today.
