St. John: Apostle, Evangelist, Friend

On the third day of Christmas, we come to the feast day for St. John. John fills many roles and was used by God in a mighty way, including to record 5 books of the New Testament. He was an Apostle, sent out to spread God's Word and an evangelist to the saving Gospel of Jesus. He was also a friend, the disciple "whom Jesus loved."
