They Heard Something... They Saw Something... and They Recognized Someone

One More Christmas/Life Message...

Let's look collectively at the Shepherds, Wise Men, Simeon and Anna and apply what they heard, saw and recognized with our journey to, with and for Jesus. I pray it richly blesses you.

• They heard something (news) (Shepherds (Luke 2:8-20) and Angels (Hebrews 1:6)

Hearing from God (God's News)

• The saw something (light)
They traveled from the ends of the earth to go find Him was born the king of the Jews.

Seeing His star (Light)

• They recognized something (they knew Him and rejoiced in what was promised to them.) (LUKE 2)

Recognizing His Grace (God)

Notice how they didn't make a big deal about the law... the big deal was Jesus, God's grace and the hope and comfort of his salvation.
