The Great and Mighty Things the Shepherds Saw

We all know the story of the shepherds to whom was announced the birth of Jesus Christ, or do we? Has our familiarity with this precious story clouded our vision to keep us from seeing its importance? In this sermon directed most especially to our children, we learn that the shepherds saw great and mighty things: a myriad of angels boldly declaring God's praise, and a great and mighty Savior wrapped up in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger!
