The Believer Confesses

This is the 5th in a series on Psalm 51, preached by Pastor Audey Shepard. This is a psalm of sin, forgiveness, and true repentance.

God would use David, His special chosen instrument, to show forth these essential truths. David has no fear of condemnation for his sins, but he pleads the mercy of God to cleanse him from the defilement of his sin. He submits his confession to God's righteous judgment, knowing that his God is full of tender mercies and steadfast love.
