The Incarnation - Lesson 1 - The Word Became Flesh - John 1:1-2, 14. To say that Jesus is truly God and truly man is a central tenant of the Christian faith. To deny the deity of Christ, or His humanity is to deny Who and what He is – the God Man. These denials separate one from saving faith. Without believing these things about Christ one cannot be saved.
