The Meaning of Christmas

Christmas for many is the most stressful, depressing, lonely time of the year. Instead of celebrating the peace, and hope, and life that came to our world in the birth of Jesus, many have made a habit of practically celebrating the opposite of those things.

But Christmas -- the birth of Jesus -- is really about compassion, the gift of life, and worship. This is "the Christmas spirit" that God has shared with us. And our lives will find their real purpose and meaning in Christ as we learn to celebrate and share compassion and life with others.
