Christmas Sunday

In a quiet starlit countryside, on the same holy night that the Word of God became flesh, a group of shepherds watched over their flocks. As the night passed on, as they strained to keep their eyes open, their pasture suddenly was flooded with the glory of God! Angels appeared, rejoicing: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:14 (NKJV) In an instant, every desire and plan the shepherds had previously was changed. They ran straight to the Christ – a tiny homeless baby wrapped in swaddling clothes in a backwoods country town called Bethlehem.
