The economic rise of Egypt's Pharaoh and the diminishing district rulers nearby along the Nile River coincides with Joseph's famine policy, which advised that Pharaoh store grain during the years of plenty and then sell it for cash, land, and even the enslavement of nearby peoples. Plus, hundreds of years later, there is evidence for the slavery of the Jews in Egypt because the bones in Jewish graves were frail due to malnutrition. During that time the average lifespan was 32, which strongly contrasted with the time when the Jews ate well and lived long lives in Egypt.
