She Had No Spiritual Beliefs and She Stopped for Prayer

When Tony was a deputy sheriff, the two worst days of the year to work were Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It wasn't because he had to work during the holidays. The reason: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were the two busiest days of the year for domestic violence, suicides, drunk driving, and other crimes.

For many people, Christmas is not the "season to be jolly." And, as is the case for most people (including many professing Christians), Jesus isn't the reason for the season either.

Many people are miserable, alone, angry, and desperate around Christmas.

Tony makes sure to spend time during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, on the streets--hoping to communicate the gospel to lost, hurting people.

As Tony was setting up for a time of crosswalking, Terra pulled into the parking lot. She stopped for prayer. When Tony asked Terra if she had any particular spiritual beliefs, she said she had none.
