Mary's Christmas

In Luke chapter 1 Mary was visited by the angel Gabriel and Gabriel informed her that she would give birth to the Lord Jesus.

After the announcement of the birth of Jesus Mary goes and visits her cousin Elizabeth.

When Mary visits Elizabeth she praises God for his grace and the great things he has done.

Mary is just a teenager when she received the news that she was going to give birth to Jesus.

Mary wanted to magnify the Lord, she wanted to lift his name up, because she knew that he alone was a Saviour.

Mary's song in Luke 1 was a:

1. A Song about the Grace of God vs 46 – 48

2. A Song about the Greatness of God vs 49 – 52

3. A Song about the Goodness of God vs 53 – 55

Mary Magnified the Lord as Savior in her words and in her life and so should we.
