Consciences Convicted

Human nature shines a spotlight on other people's sin and hides or minimises its own. The lady caught in adultery powerfully shows that Christ does not condemn sinners. God's laws, written on our hearts do. What a contrast: the approach of men who wanted to stone her vs Christ, who gently urges her to repent: "Go and sin no more".
