Nourished in the Battle

The Christmas story has a heavenly perspective we don't often hear of. Revelation 12 tells something of that perspective - a cosmic conflict which ends up taking place here on earth. But the battle is fought and won extremely quickly. That Ancient Serpent the devil is comprehensively defeated. And though, because his time is short, he furiously wages war on earth with the woman and her offspring, there is nourishment, protection and salvation for all the Lord's covenant people. "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come."
