Most people will know that Charles Dickens wrote 'A Christmas Carol' - the novel on which many a movie has since been based.

They may also be aware that this was the first of five Christmas books that came from the pen of Dickens.

What some may not realise is that Charles Dickens had an elder sister with whom he was extremely close, who became an evangelical Christian.

Nor may they know that one of the characters in 'A Christmas Carol,' Tiny Tim, was based on this sister's disabled son.

Listen to her absorbing story in this audio as it examines several vital areas of her experience:

  1. Evangelicalism

  2. Endurance

  3. Eternity.

[ NB. As you listen, you may wish to make your way through the presentation slides that appear in the photo album that is attached to this page ].
