The Saviour...Christ the Lord

The facts of the Incarnation are clear enough from the Scriptures, but the actual event remains a deep and wondrous mystery of God's grace. How it could be that the eternal Son could take human nature to himself and continue to live, even now, as fully God and fully man, in his one Person, is beyond human knowledge. That he did so, however, is our salvation. And so we worship in thankful joy for the mercy that God has shown, and reverential awe that he should reveal himself in such a wonderful way.
