The Light of the world

The coming of Christ is not a flash in the pan, not a passing glow in a corner, but the Light of life shining in the world. Here we consider why the world needs light, what light the world needs, who the Light of the world is, and how one may have the Light of the world, the Light of life. The child in the manger who grew up to die for our sins is the Light of the world; the baby born in Bethlehem who was crucified on Calvary is the Light of life, and all who follow him in faith will obtain the life that is in him, and not walk in darkness.
