Women in the Tree

Have you ever traced your family ancestry? In many societies of the world and especially in the Bible times among the Hebrews (Jews) it made a big difference who your father was. As we open the New Testament and the gospel narrative of Matthew we are presented with Jesus ancestry through the legal line of Joseph. Matthew's genealogy is very unique and constructed to highlight that Jesus is a descendant of Abraham and of David.
