Well Done, Faithful Servant

In the light of His imminent return, He urged readiness. He chose a very common symbol, money. A "talent" sounds like He spoke of a personal ability or talent, ie singing, speaking, woodworking or being a good mathematician. The "goods" represent what a man earns in life. His "goods" are the saving benefits resulting from His work: forgiveness, redemption, justification. What most do is bury it in the earth, which represents religion.
