The Seed and the Substance

This is one of the best known passages in the Scriptures. It is referred to at least five times in the New Testament. This message looks for clues that tell us it concerns Christ. The final clue is in the closing verse. He referred to the "seed and the substance". This is the church and Her Savior. He is her life and light. Without Him the church is an organization no different and no better than any other.
